Short Information: Indian Railways, Central Railway Mumbai released the advertisement of new recruitment to the post of  Apprentice. This time CR Apprentice invites online application apprentice form total of 2422 different apprentice posts will be  recruited, whose applications will be made online through the website any eligible and interested candidates who want to apply  online should apply online between 15 December 2022 to 15 January 2023.

• The candidates who have registered and complete their profile 100 percent with the Apprentice Portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.org) are required to produce their registration No. Candidates belonging to OBC should bring copy of OBC(NCL) in Central Government Format issued on or after 01.04.2021, also SC/ST candidates should bring SC/ST certificates in Central Government Format before engagement for Apprentice training under the Apprentice Act-1961.
• You and Surety (Parents or Guardian) are required to execute Standard Contract of Apprenticeship with the Establishment before commencement of training, and the contract shall be binding on both sides (Apprentice and Establishment).The Apprentice Training shall commence on your contract of agreement being accepted and Approved by the Regional Director of Apprentice Training(RDAT), ATI Campus / Western Region. Sion.
• You will be eligible for Stipend payable according to the period of training in respective trades allotted to individual. Training hours shall be as per the Roster hours observed by the Establishment.
• You are entitled for free medical treatment for personal Injury caused by accident arising during the course of training at the location. You are not entitled for any Railway Pass during the period of Training.
• You have to refund the amount of stipend allowed during the training, if your apprentice ship is terminated by the establishment for reason attributed by you or as per the directives of Regional Director of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT).
• You will be allowed to appear for All India Trade test Conducted by National Council on Successful Completing of Contractual period of training. The establishment does not guarantee employment on completion of training.

 Eligibiltity

• Matric/10th class Pass with minimum 50% marks.
• ITI in relevant trade (i.e. National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued  by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).

Selection Process 

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared (trade wise,
unit-wise, community-wise). The merit list in each unit will be prepared
on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with
minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which
Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of average
of marks in the matriculation and ITI.
