Instruction to the candidates
You are advised to bring the following documents in original and 2 sets of self-attested photocopy at the time of Skill Test / Trade Test:
1 Call Letter (as downloaded from SAIL website www.sail.co.in)
2 E-receipt (application fees)
2a Original Registration Slip / Application ID Slip (if applicable)
3 Photo Identity Proof- Voter Card (EPIC) / Driving License / PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card
3a Certificate from respective Personnel Executive of concerned unit mentioning date of joining as permanent employee and
date of birth plus original Identity card – For departmental candidate.
4 Date of Birth & Name – Matriculation certificate
5 Valid Caste/Category/Community Certificate, if applicable
6 Valid disability (PwD) Certificate, if applicable
7 ESM certificate, Discharge book of ex-serviceman, if applicable
8 Educational Qualification(s) : Mark sheet(s) and Certificate(s)
9 Essential minimum qualification: Mark sheet(s) and Certificate(s)
10 License (CJ) / Certificate (BO & HPW) etc as per requirement (if any)
11 Essential work experience certificate as per requirement
13 Civil equivalence certificate of qualification, if applicable
14 No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the present employer, if applicable
15 Valid Certificate in the prescribed format w.r.t candidate’s eligibility to avail extra / compensatory time during CBT

the candidates and SAIL/DSP will not in any way be held liable for the same.
B. The candidates shortlisted for Skill Test / Trade Test are advised to report for document verification,
Biometric verification & Authentication followed by Skill Test / Trade Test at the given venue, as per date
& reporting time mentioned against each candidate. In case of non-reporting at the venue as per given
schedule for Skill Test / Trade Test, the candidates may not be entertained.
C. Candidates are required to wear shoes and tight-fitting clothing for attending the Skill Test / Trade Test.
D. List of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test / Trade Test is not in the order of merit.
E. The ‘Call Letters’ for Skill Test / Trade Test of the shortlisted candidates can be downloaded from the SAIL website (www.sail.co.in) from 27.06.2023. Candidates can download their call letter for Skill Test / Trade Test as under
