Roles and Responsibilities: –
- Identify potential customers and projects
- Generate high-quality sales leads
- Follow up after initial contact
- Secure new orders and renew repeat orders
- Negotiate prices
- Complete sales
- Arrange deliveries
- Diagnosis of defects mechanical, electrical and controls
- Commissioning of new engines and or post overhauling
- Alignment of engine, gearbox and propeller shaft
- Achieve customer satisfaction and generate new service & spares business revenue
- Communicate effectively to Management, Clients & Vendors through mail, phone or in-person
Desired Candidate Profile: –
- Experience in sales / service of Marine equipment.
- Cummins marine or genset engines
- Caterpillar / Scania / MTU / Volvopenta
- Gearbox / propulsion shafting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with project management solutions
- Good networking with Public Shipyards & Boat Builders
